  • Biology B- First, the students graded the Chapter 4 Review. Next, they 1/2 sheet scrapped the Chapter 4 Assessment Questions. Finally, the class took the Chapter 4 Test.

If you were absent on Wednesday May 25th

  • Chemistry B- First, the students 1/2 sheet scrapped the Ka lab. Then, the class went to the Media Center to work on WebAssign.
  • Biology B- To start class off, the students 1/2 sheet scrapped the Census 2000 worksheet. Next, the students completed a Science World. Then, they worked on the Chapter 4 Review on Pages 109-111 # 1-13, 23-30, 35. The Chapter 4 Test will be tomorrow.

If you were absent on Tuesday May 24th

  • Chemistry B- Underclassmen performed the Computer Lab #27 "Acid Dissociation Constant Ka". Seniors took the second part of the Trimester Exam.

  • Biology B- First, the students graded the lab over Random Sampling. Next, we graded the worksheet on Chapter 4 Section 2. Finally, the class performed the lab over capture/ recapture titled Mice in a Wood Lot.

If you were absent on Monday May 23rd


  • Chemistry B- First, the underclassmen took a quiz over neutralizations and titrations. After the Quiz, the students went to the Media Center to work on WebAssign. The seniors took part I of the Trimester Exam.



  • Biology B- At the beginning of class, I collect the Population Riddle Bonus. Next, the students outlined Section 2 of Chapter 4 in their notebooks. Finally, I assigned the following:


  1. Worksheet- Lesson 1: Census 2000

  2. Worksheet- Chapter 4 Section 2

  3. Assessment Questions Page 105 # 1-4

If you were absent on Friday May 20th


  • Chemistry B- To start things off, the class 1/2 sheet scrapped the Titrations #2 worksheet. Next, the students performed an Acid/ Base Titration Lab.



  • Biology B- First, I collect the Population Research Activity. Next, the students graded their Chapter 4 section 1 worksheet. Third, the class took Vocabulary Quiz #13. Then, after demonstrating how to take a random sample, the students worked on the Random Sampling Lab. Finally, I handed out the Population Riddle Bonus.

  • Biology B- First, the students graded their worksheet on Population Density. Next, I assigned the Enrichment worksheet over Population Research. Finally, I assigned the Chapter 4 section 1 worksheet.

  • Chemistry B- Today, the class took notes over Neutralizations and Titrations. After working an example of a titration, I assigned the worksheet Titrations #1.



  • Biology B- First, we took notes over Chapter 4 Section 1. Next, I assigned the worksheet over population density and the assessment questions on page 99 # 1-4.

If you were absent on Tuesday May 17th


  • Chemistry B- First, the class 1/2 sheet scrapped the worksheet over calculating pH and the Ka problem from the website. After working the Ka problem, the students took a quiz over Ka. Finally, the class performed a lab over pH and color indicators.



  • Biology B- To start things off, the students graded the chapter 3 review on pages 85-87. Next, the class 1/2 sheet scrapped the Chapter 3 Assessment Questions. Third, the students took the Chapter 3 Test. Finally, I asked to class to read Chapter 4.

  • Chemistry B- The class continued taking notes on acids and bases. Today we discussed pH, Bronsted/Lowry acids and bases, and Lewis acids and bases. I assigned a worksheet over calculating pH and a Ka problem from the website.




  • Biology B- To start things off, we graded the worksheet over Chapter 3 section 3. Next, we went to the Media Center to finish the Biomes Charts. Finally, I assigned the chapter 3 review on pages 85-87 # 1-4, 8, 11, 14-16, 18-21 & 24-29.

  • Chemistry B- Today, we started the topic of Acids and Bases. The students took notes over properties of acids and bases, Arrhenius acids and bases and Dissociation Constants.

  • Biology B- First, the students took Vocab Quiz #12. Second, the class graded the Chapter 3 section 2 worksheet. Third, the students went to the Media Center to work on the Classifications of Biomes chart. Finally, I assigned the worksheet over Chapter 3 Section 3 and the assessment questions on page 81 #1-4.

  • Chemistry B- The students took the test over kinetics.

  • Biology B- To start things off, the students took notes over Chapter 3 section 3. Next, they finished the BSCS Climatogram lab. Finally, I assigned the worksheet over Chapter 3 section 2.

  • Chemistry B- Class started by taking a quiz over Reaction Rates and Equilibrium. Next, the students went to the Media Center to work on WebAssign.

  • Biology B- First, the class graded the Chapter 3 section 1 worksheet. Next, the students took notes over Chapter 3 Section 2. Then, the class worked on the BSCS Lab over Climatograms. Finally, I assigned the assessment questions on Page 73 # 1-4.

  • Chemistry B- First, the class graded the Practice Quiz. Then, the students performed a lab over stress management. Tomorrow, the class has a quiz over Reaction Rates and Equilibrium.

  • Biology B- To start things off, the students took notes over Chapter 3 Section 1. Next, we did the data analysis 3.1 in the book. Finally, I assigned the Chapter 3 Section 1 worksheet and the Section 1 Assessment Questions.

  • Biology- To start things off, the students graded the worksheet over Chapter 2 section 3. Next, the class graded the Chapter 2 Review questions. Third, the students 1/2 sheet scrapped their assessment questions. Then, the class took the Test over chapter 2. I asked the students to read chapter 3 for tomorrow.

  • Biology B- To start things off, the student outlined section 3 of Chapter 2 in their notebooks. Next, they worked on their computer generated food web. Finally, I assigned Chapter 2 Sections 1 & 2 worksheets.

  • Chemistry B- In class, the students took notes over Reversible Reactions, Equilibrium Constants and we worked some Keq problems. Next, I assigned a worksheet over Reversible Reactions and Equilibrium.

  • Biology B- First, we graded the worksheet over relationships between organisms. Next, the students created a food web using imaginary animals. Finally, I assigned a food web that the students must create using the computer.

  • Chemistry B- Today, after handing in the Computer Lab, the class took notes over Enthalpy and Free Energy. After showing the students examples of both, I assigned a worksheet over Reaction Kinetics.
  • Biology B- First, the class reviewed community interactions. After giving examples of these interactions, the students took notes over Chapter 2 Section 2. Then, I assigned the worksheet over Relationships between Organisms. Also, I assigned the assessment questions on Page 40 # 1-4.

  • Biology B- To start things off, the students graded the worksheet over section 3 of Chapter 8. Next, they 1/2 sheet scrapped their assessment questions. After taking a quiz over chapter 8, the students took notes over Section 1 of Chapter 2 (Ecology).
