AP Biology A- First, the class reviewed the Chapter one quiz. Next, the students took notes over Chapter 22.2 and 22.3. Finally, I assigned a worksheet over chapter 22.
Biology A- Today, the students worked on day two of the Lab Yeast / Molasses. The Chapter Review and Assessment questions are due tomorrow.
Chemistry A- To start things off, the students 1/2 sheet scrapped the worksheet over matter and change. Next, the class went to the media center to find notes on significant figures, the even rule and metric conversions. Also, the student started working on their WebAssign. Finally, I assigned a worksheet over units of measurement.

Tuesday August 30th
AP Biology- The students started class by taking a Quiz over chapter 1. Next, they shared their data for Lab #11. Finally, I started a powerpoint presentation over Chapter 22.
Biology A- Today, the students set up the Lab- Yeast/ Molasses. Then, I assigned the Chapter one Review on Page 25 #1-5, 9-12, 15-20.
Chemistry A- To start things off, we discussed the Skills Review Worksheet. Next, the students took notes over the branches of chemistry, physical/ chemical changes, and the periodic table. Finally, I assigned the worksheet matter and change.

AP Biology A- Today, the students started Lab #11 on Animal Behavior. The students will have a chapter 1 quiz and a book cover quiz tomorrow.
Biology A- First, the students had a book cover quiz. Next, we graded the homework from Friday (WS- 1.3, Page 14 graph and WS- Scientific Investigation). Third, the students did a smart board activity picking out independent and dependent variables. After reading the Lab for tomorrow, the students worked on the Assessment Questions from the book.

AP Biology- First, we discussed the worksheet over Scientific Investigations. Next, the students took notes over chapter one. The students were assigned to bring in 7 pill bugs for Monday's lab. Any extra pill bug, up to ten, will be bonus.
Biology A- First, the students graded worksheets 1.1 and 1.2. Next, we discussed how to make a graph with a best fit line. After taking notes on Section 1.3, I assigned worksheet 1.3 and the worksheet over Scientific Investigations. Remember the bookcover quiz is on Monday.

AP Biology- First, the students observed a Powerpoint presentation over laboratory safety. After handing out the lab manuals, the students fill their lab drawers. I assigned a worksheet over Scientific Investigations and asked the students to read chapter one.
Biology A- The students took notes over sections 1.1 and 1.2. I assigned two worksheets (1.1 and 1.2) and the Data Analysis on page 14 (Graphing).

AP Biology A- Today we started class by going over the classroom rules, tornado drill and fire drill procedures. After issuing books, the students took a pre-test. Next, we discussed the course description and I informed the students the materials that will be needed for the class.
